AID REQUESTS
By taking advantage of social media and the reach we are awarded with it, YCA shares community aid requests spanning from funds to supplies to services. We do our bests to meet all needs with zero judgement. You can find all of our met and open requests on our Instagram or Facebook.
EVERYBODY EATS
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown, Yakima youth have been working to provide essential supplies to the homeless community in the city. As of now, more than one hundred people are receiving food and hygiene supplies through monetary and supplies donations.
UNLEARNING: YCA BOOKCLUB
This bookclub fosters an environment for the community to come together and discuss literature and other forms of media pertaining to anti-racism work. We will be engaging with works that are meant to be anti-racist, pro-Black, pro-LGBT, anti-colonial and much more.
Our goal is to nurture and support education and growth for ourselves and our community that will benefit and support the work to liberate non-white folks in the area of Yakima.
